LACROSSE SPRING PROGRAM

Open to 5th - 8th Grade boys 

$200

Starting March 11th - Mid-May 2024

We will field a 12U team and a 14U team that will be coached by SLUH coaches, alumni, and current players.

Practices: Twice a week @ SLUH*

• Mondays, 5-6:30pm at Compton Drew grass field
• Wednesdays, 6:30-8pm on Stadium Turf field

Games: We have joined other MSLA teams to play games in the SLYLA Program.  (Important: this league will not conflict with the SLYLA Club team league.) You can expect 10-weekend games at the Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex through SLYLA. We are also playing 2-4 games outside of SLYLA (through the Junior MSLA league) at area high schools (SLUH, MICDS, Chaminade, etc) - times will vary. 

For the 14U team, an additional MSLA Junior League Championships will take place in mid-May.

What to wear :  

• Players will be given a SLUH pinnie for practices and games. 
• Navy shorts or sweatpants for bottoms and white, navy, or grey t-shirt or sweatshirt are preferred. 
• SLUH lacrosse logo wear can be purchased through the Online Store.

Gear needed to play:  It will be required to be in full gear for all practices and games.  This includes a helmet, mouthguard, shoulder pads/liner, elbow pads, jock, turf cleats or athletic shoes, and a lacrosse stick.   

*There are situations like weather and changes in the high school teams' schedules that may require us to move some practices and game times. Please know that our goal is to provide as much time as possible for the boys to play lacrosse.
